Master of Culinary Arts
The Master of Culinary Arts (MCA) is the ultimate accolade that celebrates the outstanding craftsmanship that has developed in this country over the past 25 years in the areas of cooking, patisserie and food & wine service. The MCA is intended to instil the same respect and appreciation of these expertise that exists in France and the British awards are directly based on France's MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France). Considered the 'Oscars' of the culinary world, the MCA is awarded every four years and is an extensive tests of a number of skills within each discipline, and out of the hundreds of candidates only a few receive this supreme honour.
